Dance Background: Originally from Silver Spring, Sophie danced for 14 years at Maryland Youth Ballet. She has participated in several summer programs including Princeton Dance and Theater, Washington School of Ballet, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet, and Princeton Ballet School. At Princeton, Sophie is president of the Performing Arts Council (PAC), and is a member and choreographer in both PUB and BodyHype Dance Company. As a certificate student in the Program in Dance, she has performed the work of Merce Cunningham, Tina Fehlandt, and Mark Morris.
Favorite Ballet or Role: Balanchine's Apollo
Fun Fact: There are few things I love more than teacup pigs and pygmy hippos.
