Gabrielle Lamb
Gabrielle Lamb, winner of a 2014 Princess Grace Award for Choreography, is a New York City-based choreographer and dancer. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was trained at the Boston Ballet School and joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal in 2000, earning her soloist promotion in 2003. At the invitation of choreographer Christopher Wheeldon she moved to New York City in 2009 to join his company Morphoses.
Ms. Lamb, who began choreographing in 2005, has won the National Choreographic Competition of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 2009 as well as, in 2013, First Prizes in Milwaukee Ballet’s Genesis International Choreographic Competition and Western Michigan University’s National Choreographic Competition. She was named winner of the Banff Centre’s 2014-15 Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award; and in 2014 she was honored with a New York City Center Choreography Fellowship. Most recently she was awarded the S&R Foundation's Washington Award Grand Prize for 2018. She was also selected to create for David Hallberg's inaugural ABT Choreographic Incubator.Her movement style and theatricality have been profoundly influenced by the choreographers whose work she danced during her performing career, including George Balanchine, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, and Shen Wei. Since moving to New York she has also created leading roles in new works by contemporary artists such as Pontus Lidberg, Luca Veggetti, Matthew Neenan, Adam Barruch, Shannon Gillen, and Emery Lecrone.

Juan Rodriguez
Juan Antonio Rodriguez, began his training as a scholarship student at The Ailey School, under the direction of Dennis Jefferson, where he received the Donna Wood Award. He furthered his studies achieving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School. Juan went on to perform professionally with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and has freelanced and guest taught with many others.

Joseph Morrissey
Joseph Morrissey is currently the Director of Artistic Planning and Touring for The Hong Kong Ballet. He has danced with the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, Germany, the Boston Ballet and the Charleston Ballet Theatre. Joseph holds a Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration from New York University where he completed his graduate practicum with Emerging Pictures, the film distributor that initiated live broadcasts of The Bolshoi Ballet to cinemas across North America. In 2009 and 2010 Joseph was invited to choreograph for the Stuttgart Ballet’s Noverre Society, a platform for emerging choreographers where he worked with dancers of the Stuttgart Ballet company. He was further selected to participate in the 2011 New York Choreographic Institute, an affiliate of the New York City Ballet where he worked with students at the School of American Ballet to a commissioned score by Michael Ippolito of the Juilliard School. In July 2013, his choreography was featured with the Roberto Bolle and Friends from American Ballet Theatre galas throughout Italy and Sicily, performed by soloists from the American Ballet Theatre. In September 2014, Joseph’s work was performed at the Ballet Philippines 45th Anniversary gala performances at the Cultural Center’s National Theater in Manila. Joseph has also choreographed for the Festival Ballet d’Adriatico held in Ascoli Piceno, Italy and the Inside / Out performance series presented by the School of Ballet at Jacob’s Pillow, a program of which he is a two-time alumnus. From 2012-2013 Joseph served as the Director of CORPS, a pre-professional program for select students pursuing classical ballet careers and higher education in exchange for academic credit with affiliated public and private high schools. He has instructed classes for Ballet Preljocaj and Spellbound Contemporary Ballet and is a member of The International Vaganova Method Society, having completed the Vaganova Ballet Academy’s annual methodology seminar in St. Petersburg, Russia. A graduate of The Harid Conservatory, where he received the Outstanding Achievement Awards in Dance, Music and Leadership, Joseph has served as a guest instructor for his alma mater’s annual audition classes held in New York. Joseph also holds a Bachelor of Science in Classical Ballet from the Jacob’s School of Music at Indiana University where he was a recipient of The Kenneth C. Whitener Award for Ballet Excellence and The Jacob’s School of Music Dean’s Award. Joseph is an appointed member on the Executive Committee Board of The Hong Kong Dance Alliance, the official Hong Kong organization of the World Dance Alliance.

Donna has devoted her life to discovering where the world of dance, music, art, and learning intersect. She is the artistic director of CONTINUUM Contemporary/Ballet, a New York City based dance company comprised of classically-trained dancers with contemporary artistic voices. CONTINUUM aims to create work that plays in the concert dance spectrum while celebrating a spirit of dance making that is inspiring, collaborative, and progressive. Mentioned as a "Notable Choreographer" by New York Times blog, the Local East Village, Donna's work has been presented by the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, 92nd Street Y, DanceNOW, Latin Choreographers Festival, the CURRENT SESSIONS, and the Columbia Ballet Collaborative.
Her early dance training began under Tatjana Akinfieva-Smith and Elena Manakhova and she spent summers studying at the American Ballet Theatre, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and Alonzo King's LINES ballet. After earning a BFA in Dance Performance from Towson University and an MFA in Dance Performance and Teaching from SUNY Purchase, she performed professionally with the Eglevsky Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, ad Hoc Ballet, and David Fernandez's Some Dance Company. She has danced in NYFW for Moncler Brand and designer Thom Browne, and in a runway ballet for Ted Gibson Beauty. She has also collaborated with Grammy Award Winning Artist MYA. She co-authored the children's book Crafterina with her sister Vancessa, and is a faculty member at the School at Steps

She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in History of Science and a Certificate in the Program in Dance and now lives, choreographs and dances in New York City. In addition to producing work as Artistic Director of Sydney Schiff Dance Project, she has worked with Patricia Hoffbauer, Rebecca Lazier, Lindsey Dietz Marchant, Silas Riener, The Construction Company, LOOM Ensemble, Emily Faulkner, Darcy Naganuma, Pedro Jimenez, Clare Cook Dance Theater and H.T. Chen & Dancers, among others. She is currently an apprentice with Zvidance and a member of the Parparim Ensemble of the Israeli Dance Institute.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Harper Addison is currently in her third year of the Master of Fine Arts program in Dance at Florida State University. Additionally, she has a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College, a Certificate in Dance from The Ailey School, and has trained at the American Dance Festival, North Carolina School of the Arts, Hungarian National Ballet Academy, and the American Academy of Dance in Paris. Harper has also had the opportunity to work with choreographers Sidra Bell, Christopher Huggins, Earl Mosley, Dan Wagoner, Anthony Morgan and Daniel Clifton. Her work has been presented at The Ailey School, Davidson College, The Florida State University, and the Southeast Region of the American College Dance Festival. In 2012 her work, Hearts of Sheep, was presented at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. as part of the National American College Dance Festival.

Alexis Branagan
Alexis Branagan '11 is happy to be "going back to the best old place of all" to choreograph for PUB. As Princeton University Ballet's Founding Artistic Director, Alexis remained in the company's leadership roles throughout her years at Princeton; she established the company's commitment to performing ballet classics and to attracting professional guest artists to choreograph and coach company members in contemporary works. Alexis came to Princeton determined to continue cultivating her strong ballet passion and training. She began her serious dance training at New Jersey School of Ballet when she was twelve years old. As a member of New Jersey Ballet's Junior Company, she performed corps de ballet and solo roles in NJ Ballet's professional productions. She has attended numerous Intensive training programs including: American Ballet Theatre, Kaatsbaan, Kirov Academy, The Juilliard School and SanFrancisco Conservatory of Dance. As a Dance Certificate student at Princeton, Alexis performed works choreographed by Mark Morris, Twyla Tharp, Graham Lustig, Susan Jaffe, Jill Johnson, Cherylyn Lavagnino, and Rebecca Lazier. She also frequently performed her own choreography in Princeton's Spring Dance Festivals. In Spring 2011, Alexis earned the Outstanding Senior Creative Thesis Award for her original contemporary ballet, With Awaken'd Eyes, the first ballet thesis ever produced at Princeton. Since stepping outside the Fitzrandolph Gates, Alexis has continued her dance training and is performing with such companies as Susan Tenney and Dancers and Armitage Gone! Dance. She also works as Marketing and Development Associate at American Repertory Ballet, is a freelance dance writer (you can find her work in Pointe and Dance Magazine), and teaches ballet.

Tina Fehlandt
Tina Fehlandt appeared in the debut performance of the Mark Morris Dance Group in 1980 and was a featured dancer with the company for twenty years. She is currently a Lecturer in the Dance Program at Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts. Ms. Fehlandt has been acclaimed for her stagings of the ballets of Mark Morris on Washington Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet Covent Garden, Dutch National Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Tina Fehlandt appeared in the debut performance of the Mark Morris Dance Group in 1980 and was a featured dancer with the company for twenty years. She is currently a Lecturer in the Dance Program at Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts. Ms. Fehlandt has been acclaimed for her stagings of the ballets of Mark Morris on Washington Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet Covent Garden, Dutch National Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Garth Johnson
Garth Johnson was born an artist. He grew up in the microscopic town of Hebron, IL, a town of 1,000 people on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois. He started dancing when he was six years old and is now going into his 3rd year at The Juilliard School. During his time at Juilliard he has harbored his love of creation and choreography by making dance. He is excited for Princeton's premier of Sleep, which he created in 2010 at Juilliard.

Mary Barton
Mary Barton received her training at the Washington School of Ballet and participated in summer courses at SAB and Joffrey Ballet School. Her professional experience began at Washington Ballet, dancing soloist and principal roles with the company while still a student. At age 18, she joined the Oldenburg Staat Ballet as Principal Guest Artist. After performing in Europe, she returned to the US and joined the Dayton Ballet as Principal dancer. Later, Ms. Barton danced as a principal dancer with the American Repertory Ballet from 1993-2004. Ms. Barton has been on the faculty of the Princeton Ballet School since 1993, and is one of the primary teachers of the Summer Intensive. She is also a member of the ballet faculty at the Lewis Center of the Arts at Princeton University, and in the Musical Theatre program at Rider University. She is listed in the “Who’s Who of American Teachers.” As a director, she has helped restage Romeo and Juliet and Our Town on other companies around the US. Her choreography has been presented by Rider University, The Outlet, Teamwork Dance, and Princeton University Ballet, as well as the annual school productions of Princeton Ballet School.

Duell is a repetiteur for the George Balanchine Trust and stages ballets across the United States. He conducts master classes in both the United States and Europe, including teaching engagements at the School of American Ballet, Indiana University at Bloomington, the University of Iowa, and the Bulgarian National Dance Academy in Sophia, Bulgaria. In Spring 2011, Duell will work with the Royal Danish Ballet, teaching and coaching the company in preparation for its New York season.

Christopher Fleming
As a member of the New York City Ballet, Mr. Fleming danced solo and principal roles in works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins and Peter Martins. With Mr. Balanchine's encouragement he embarked on a career as a choreographer and received a Fellowship from the National Choreographic Institute. Mr. Fleming served as the Artistic Director of the Compania Colombiana de Ballet at the Teatro Colon in Bogota, Colombia from 1985 to 1990. He was named Artistic Director of Bay Ballet Theatre in Tampa, Florida in 1993. In the mid 2000's, Mr. Fleming was Co-Director of Contrast Dance Theatre based in New York City. He has served as Assistant Director and Resident Choreographer for The Rock School for Dance Education, formerly of the Pennsylvania Ballet, for nearly ten years. His personal student roster has yielded professionals in nearly every division of the field, including some of the most prestigious companies in the United States. He has and continues to guest teach at countless schools and companies across the country and globe. Mr. Fleming has enjoyed and is currently undertaking a freelancing choreographic and teaching career. He is also artistic director of the newly formed BalletFleming.

Susan Jaffe
Declared by the New York Times as “America’s Quintessential American Ballerina” Susan Jaffe danced as a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre for 20 years. In 2003, one year after her retirement from the stage, Ms. Jaffe co-founded the Princeton Dance & Theatre Studio in Princeton, New Jersey where she enjoyed passing on the wealth of her knowledge to her dance students. As a result of owning a school, Ms. Jaffe expanded into choreography. Her choreographic achievements include “The Nutcracker” “Pop Sonata” “Sleeping Beauty" "Paquita," "Raymonda Divertissements," "Ballet Studies," "Tarantella," "Glass Cuts," "Carnival of the Animals," and the “Cancan.” She also has choreographed for professional companies, Lemon Spongecake Contemporary Ballet,"Meditations UnCaged" and Configurations Dance Company,"Novem Pas de Deux," "Velez pas de deux," and "Royenne." In the 2009 Gala for Youth America Grand Prix in New York CIty, she choreographed a pas de deux for Isabella Boylston and Blaine Hoven of American Ballet Theatre called "Sonato." In September 2010, Ms. Jaffe joined the roster of American Ballet Theatre once again, now in the role of Ballet Mistress. She has sold her school, but continues to be a guest teacher there, when time allows.

Nancie Woods is originally from England, where she trained at Elmhurst Ballet School with Bridget Espinoza and the Rambert Academy in London with Mary Munro and Patricia Norman. Ms. Woods studied the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and gained the Advanced Certificate before beginning her professional life as a dancer. Her performing career began in Strasbourg, France with the Ballet du Rhin, where she toured extensively throughout Europe dancing soloist roles at an early age. Upon her arrival in the USA, Ms. Woods joined Delta Festival Ballet in New Orleans. Later, Ms. Woods joined the Dallas Ballet under the direction of Flemming Flindt and was soon promoted to soloist. During her tenure with the company she performed a diverse repertoire of works of the famed August Bournonville, George Balanchine, Jose Limon, Alvin Ailey, Susan Marshall, Bryan Pitts and Flemming Flindt. In addition to her experience in ballet companies, she also spent several summer seasons performing as principal dancer with the distiguished Santa Fe Opera. Now, following the retirement of company co-founder Kathryn Fredgren, Ms. Woods became the Artistic Director of Arlington Center for Dance (now BalletNova Center for Dance) after having served on the faculty for 11 years.
