Dance Background: Helena discovered a love for classical ballet at Premier Ballet Academy in Cairo, Egypt. After moving to Phoenix, she continued dancing at Southwest Ballet Theatre under the direction of Daniel Baudendistel, Melissa Hahne, Gillian George, and Tasha Stramecki, as well as at Ballet Theatre of Phoenix under the direction of Jennifer Cafarella-Betts. She has enjoyed performing in The Nutcracker (Sugarplum, Snow Queen, Dew Drop); Sleeping Beauty (Aurora, Lilac Fairy); Cinderella (Cinderella, Stepsister); Coppélia, and other classical and contemporary shows. She has attended summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre, Anaheim Ballet School, and the School of Ballet Arizona.
