Dance Background: George Vavrik started dancing at the age of 3 and spent most of his dance education at the Albemarle Ballet Theatre in Crozet, Virginia. He spent two summers in New York City with the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive and was accepted into the Virginia Governor's School Summer program for Dance, as well as programs with the American Ballet Theatre and Interlochen Arts Academy. He has primarily trained in ballet, but has experience with contemporary, Horton, flamenco, and other movement forms. ​
