Dance Background: Emily began dancing at age three at her local ballet school, Princeton Dance & Theater founded by Susan Jaffe and Risa Kaplowitz, and trained for 15 years under the American Ballet Theater Curriculum. She joined the Princeton Youth Ballet company in 2013 and performed in various productions from the Nutcracker to the Sleeping Beauty. Emily also spent a fall and summer training at American Ballet Theater in New York City where she studied under instructors such as Cynthia Harvey, Ethan Stiefel, Sasha Radetsky, Stella Abrera, Franco DeVita, and more.
