Major: German Language and Literature
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Dance Background: Ellie Albarran began dancing at the age of four at the Dance Gallery in Chicago.  For the majority of her high school career, she studied under the direction of Daniel Duell and Patricia Blair at Ballet Chicago, performing in the Nutcracker and other classic pieces. Senior year, she went on to study with Randall Newsom and Birute Barodicaite at Ruth Page Center for the Arts, the Academy of Movement and Music, and Hubbard Street Dance Center. Besides dancing, she enjoys playing frisbee, splatter painting, and being a part of PUB!    
Favorite Ballet or Role: Kylian's Petite Mort
Fun Fact: In my previous life I was a wood-nymph
