Colby Hyland '16

Major: Molecular Biology with Dance certificate
Hometown: Leicester, MA
Dance Background: Originally from Massachusetts, he previously danced for ten years at the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers in styles ranging from ballet to contemporary, jazz, tap, and musical theater. He has participated in several national conventions and competitions and has most recently attended the Jacob's Pillow Contemporary Dance Program this past summer, where he studied under Milton Myers and performed works by Sharon Eyal, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, and Didy Veldman. At Princeton, Colby is the assistant artistic director of diSiac Dance Company and a member and choreographer of Princeton University Ballet. He is an active member of the Program in Dance with which he has performed works by Zvi Gotheiner, Merce Cunningham, and Bill T. Jones.10 years at Charlotte Klein Dance Center; Jacob's Pillow Contemporary Dance Program
