Dance Background: Christina Luo trained as a competitive gymnast until age 10 when she took up dancing at Morningstar Dance Academy of Atlanta. Although she spent most of her time doing ballet, she also dabbled a bit in contemporary and traditional Chinese Folk. She has competed at several competitions (eg. YAGP, WBC, IDC, UBC) and has had the privilege of studying under teachers from ABT, Washington Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Beijing Dance Academy, and many more. During her senior year of high school, she worked at her home studio as a substitute teacher. She has also recently gotten her barre certification, so fingers crossed she can find the time to teach someday!
