Dance Background: Anna started ballet at age 4. She attended various summer intensives including Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Kirov Academy of Ballet, and spent a winter at the Vaganova Ballet School in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Although she was primarily trained in the Vaganova technique, she also had the privilege of performing George Balanchine’s Who Cares? as a student at her home studio, Pennsylvania Ballet Academy. Furthermore, while in high school, she was an assistant ballet teacher for children with special needs. This experience fueled her passion to continue to make ballet an accessible art form.
