Dance Background: Angie has been dancing since she was little, starting at the Rock School for Dance Education under Stephanie and Bo Spasoff, and then transferring to the School of Pennsylvania Ballet under Arantxa Ochoa. While at PA Ballet, she performed company roles in George Balanchine's The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Le Corsaire. While a student, she also had the privilege of learning Balanchine's Serenade and Raymonda Variations. She was the youngest soloist of the 2016 Final Performance, performing the Flute Variation from Raymonda Variations. She spent her summers at American Ballet Theatre and Miami City Ballet. She was also invited to perform in Miami City Ballet's Inaugural Choreographic Intensive, where Durante Verzola choreographed a new work, Le Petit Danse. In the summer of 2019, she had the privilege of working at American Ballet Theatre in the finance department, and she was thrilled she could contribute to the art form in this new way!
