Spencer Fitzgerald '29

Hometown: Raleigh, North Carolina
Dance Background: Spencer began dancing at the age of 12 at the North Carolina Dance Institute under the guidance of Kirstie Spadie. He then made the transition to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he focused on both ballet and contemporary techniques, ranging from Cunningham to Limón. Spencer has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with his instructor, Brenda Daniels, as well as choreographers such as Trey McIntyre, Rena Butler, and Darrell Moultrie. He has spent summers in New York dancing at The Juilliard School and The Ailey School.
